Everyday through the Sunday, May 29, and the running of the centennial Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, we will present a video memory of one of the most important men in Indy 500 history.

The features will be more or less chronological, but will always feature some of the guys who I like.  I chose the 14 men, and not all were champions.  Two weren’t even drivers.

For my development as an Indy 500 fan, understanding the history of the event and the men who built it was key.
