The Minn game was an UGLY win for IU. There were way too many turnovers and fouls. TDJ continued to roll, but we will really see his talent (or lack thereof) in the next three or four games. I really think that the comment he made about the fact that “no one could guard him” was a little premature. In fact, Battle blocked two of TJD’s “jams” right at the rim. I guess we will see how good TJD is when IU plays Purdue on the 4th.

Galloway continues to amaze me. Here is a guy that is not particularly quick, not a great shooter or ball handler, and sometimes plays mediocre defense. However, with sheer determination, he helps to win basketball games with key plays at critical moments of the game. What’s not to like here?

I am not sure why Race Thompson played last night other than the fact that this game was the last college game that he would play in the “Barn” in front of family and friends. It is clear from the start that Race was nowhere near 100%.

JHS had an “off-night” last night. I don’t know what the problem was, but he couldn’t hit a bull in the ass with a bag of rice.

All in all, IU’s win was ugly, but it WAS a win, and a win on the road.
