Kent Sterling – Kent is the boss, and the the mind behind the website. He is the former director of news and programming for WIBC Radio in Indianapolis and the founder of 1070 – The Fan – Indiana’s top-rated sportstalk radio station. Kent is now program director of 101 ESPN in St. Louis, another great sports talk radio station. Kent brings two decades of sports journalism experience to indysportsonline.com. Kent was the editor for the Twisted Gazette for three years prior to entering the radio business.
Kyle Miller - “The Truth” is a basketball expert who writes primarily about Indiana University hoops action. He covers all games for indysportsonline.com, and uses his extensive background in basketball to provide thoroughly unique perspective. Kyle is in his final season at Indiana where he is majoring in journalism. Kyle will be a main author at indysportsonline.com with Kent adjusting to his new job in St. Louis. Look for “The Truth’s” Tueday Top Five, where he writes an article breaking down his top five choices of a trending category.
John Miller – “Boomer” is the editor of indysportsonline.com. He will be working mainly on keeping the website look clean and keeping the articles updated. John is also the author of Breaking Down Hoosier Opponents, where each week the Hoosier football opponent will be broken down. Besides Indiana football, John’s knowledge lies with fantasy sports and sports betting. John is a recent graduate of IU and currently resides in Indianapolis. He is a die hard fan of the Pacers, Colts, Hoosiers, and Atlanta Braves.
Amber Spruill – Is not yet cool enough to earn a nickname, but she’s working on it. She focuses mainly on college sports outside of Indiana. Look for Amber to break down the Big Ten landscape each week and share a little international flare with some golf and tennis coverage. Her main passion lies with international and U.S. soccer, so expect a unique perspective on the beautiful game. Amber is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a current sports media graduate student at Valparaiso University. She is a huge fan of the Colts, Pacers, Michigan Wolverines, and Manchester United.
