IU football coach Kevin Wilson is a plain speaking guy. What he believes, he says. It’s not flowery or poetic, but it’s informational.
If he speaks this way to the media, I can only imagine the way he lays things out for players. I’m guessing the feelings of the players are not a concern – nor should they be.

The Hoosiers have sucked at football for 20 years, and changing that we require some tough love, or tough something.
For the next few weeks, we will feature a position breakdown each day or another relevant piece of wisdom from the man trusted to lead Indiana to a stature it has only enjoyed during a very brief period in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The proof will be in the pudding, but in talking to assistant head/defensive coordinator coach Doug Mallory and head strength and conditioning coach Mark Hill, the Hoosiers are faster and stronger this season than during the first two years of the Wilson regime.
